Imagine that your committee on globalization has completed its work, and your Provost has asked you to consult with him in the future on how to implement internationalization on your own campus to respond to globalization and to any mandates from policymakers on this fast-emerging phenomenon. This course is the start of a lifetime of learning about globalization. As you interact with other cultures at work and informally, you will continue to learn about intercultural competence and how globalization is forever changing higher education. As a campus leader, you will simultaneously be swept up by emerging trends and be responsible for directing some of them.

Write pages addressing the following, using specific examples from the readings:

  • List what more will you need to learn or do in the future to address issues of globalization.
  • Rank your list in order of importance.
  • Note how you will accomplish these goals.
