Five Paragraph Paper:  write a critique. This critique is a written strategy used to describe, analyze, and reflect on the experience as an audience member of a production. Following a classic composition (5 paragraph structure), please write one analytic paper for your response, to each of the three productions. The five paragraphs should include the following information:

.Name the play, playwright, when (date and time) and where (the theatre or film you watched), as a part of the introduction, and then choose one subject from the list below, and one bullet point under the subject to use as your central thesis for the paper.

.In the second paragraph, choose one specific example from the production and describe how this production chose to approach the element in your thesis with success, or with some success. Develop your description, remembering that, even more important than your identification of the moment, is explaining, through this observation, why you feel it was successful.

.In the third paragraph, choose one specific example from the production which relates to the element in your thesis, and where the production encountered a challenge(s), in your opinion. Describe this moment, remembering that, even more important than your identification of the moment, is explaining, through this observation, why you feel it was a challenge.

.In the fourth paragraph, explain insights that you gained at this stage in your development as a student of theater.

.Your fifth paragraph should be a conclusion.
