1. First, be sure that you have carefully read the required learning materials, making any necessary notes to help you understand the different ways to analyze data whether collected from a qualitative or quantitative study.
2. Carefully outline your understanding of either qualitative or quantitative analysis as presented in your readings. This outline will be used to explain in a PowerPoint presentation the different steps required to analyze effectively and accurately collected data from a fictitious study that you think would be needed according to the short literature review. Although you only are required to actually present your understanding about one type of research method here, you should be familiar with both types from your readings.
The PowerPoint presentation will be created with these steps:
1. After selecting your research method, open a PowerPoint slide program and begin by explaining within the first two (2) slides the method selected (Quantitative or Qualitative) and an overview of the research design that supports the method.
2. The next few slides (3- slides) should discuss the data being collected, projected sample size, and how you would contact the selected sample from the population.
3. Now that you have discussed the type of data to be collected you should now suggest at least two ways that you might analyze the collected findings. You should include in your information the type of analysis and why it is appropriate for the type of data that was presented. Also, how will you connect the findings back to your initial problem. (3- slides)
4. The power point must be developed with limited text and/or use of pictures on each slide and discussion notes placed on the bottom section of each slide so that your instructor will be able to understand the point of each slides representation.
