Tatiana is a 33 year old mother of two, and recently returned to college part time to earn a degree. She is 20 pounds overweight and unable to prioritize exercise with her busy schedule. She finds her pace of life to be very hectic and stressful since she wakes early with her kids and stays up late completing homework. Her diet routinely consists of:

Breakfast: cold breakfast cereal

Lunch: Hotdogs and macaroni and cheese, or turkey/cheese roll ups, just like she makes for her kids. If she is at work she will pack herself a pastrami sandwich with an apple.

Dinner: She enjoys making quick meals and depends heavily on pre-made frozen dinners such as meat lasagna, pizzas, enchiladas, and corn dogs.

Every day of the week she finds herself having a glass of wine to help herself relax from the day. On Sunday’s when she doesn’t work, she loves taking her kids to the beach. She is always careful to remember to apply sunscreen. She likes the scent of the generic brand she buys on sale at the local drug store. After returning home from the beach she takes her family to her uncle’s house for a BBQ where they enjoy BBQ chicken and steak, a variety of sides like potato salad, macaroni and cheese, and fruit. She always enjoys a cocktail with her relatives while they watch the kids play.

Tatiana always thought she was too young to develop cancer until recently a friend of hers, only a a couple of years older, was diagnosed with breast cancer. Tatiana is becoming worried this could also happen to her.
