Topic is Full and clear liquid diets
Now, you are going to pretend you have a patient going home and you must provide education on the diet he/she must follow, making emphasis on the rational for being compliant with the diet.
The PowerPoint presentation must include the following topics:
1. Indications for the selected diet (who should follow this diet and why?)
2. Explain the scientific rationale for a prescribed diet (why the patient should follow this diet? what are the benefits of this diet for the patient? Why is so important to be compliant?)
3. Describe food/fluids encouraged to meet nutritional needs? (what food/fluid the patient should eat/drink and why?)
4. Describe food/fluid restrictions appropriate for diet (what food/fluid the patient should always avoid and why?)
5. Present a short nutritional teaching plan to a patient/family. You can include a typical day on the diet.
Requirements:
➢ The presentation should be 5 slides (not including title page and references).
➢ The presentation must be typed and conform to APA format.
➢ A minimum of two references are required.
