1. Review the following resources:

b. Review CDC website: COVID-19 at https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/
2. Identify formal and informal methods for communicating health information to children and adults. See Case Scenario (Subsystem: Formal Teaching Project) table below and complete the fields.
3. Using an evidence-based approach, develop a poster, billboard, or radio public service announcement for adult/adolescent or primary school aged children (K-5).

Case Scenario

There has been a pandemic outbreak involving COVID-19 in Sentinel Town®. 40% of the school age children were out sick this week after the governor has mandated children to return to school. A number of children and adults in the town have presented at the local clinic with complaints of fever and respiratory symptoms. What form of formal mass communication would be most effective for educating the public about the causes, symptoms, and prevention of COVID in the town? Use government websites or scholarly literature to support your rationale for the mass communication method you select.
