Columbus Day How is it remembered today?
 
Christopher Columbus is generally the figure most accredited for
marking the beginnings of the Spanish and Portuguese Empires, and
subsequently for British, and French North America, and eventually, the U.S.
This week, we are going to examine the legacy of Columbus Day
(10/11/2021), and how the perception of this national holiday has changed
from the mid-20 th  century (1950s) U.S. to today.
