I want to apply to be a secretary. my second and  third option would be vice president internal  and historian.

Positions:
  The President shall preside over all meetings of the Executive Board and General Assembly of AASA or shall designate a representative. The President shall be responsible for the final scheduling of AASA activities, the appointment of event chairs and forming committees, the correspondence pertaining to AASA as an organization, the oversight of transition between executive boards, and the authorization of disbursements and funds when necessary. The President, the Vice President Internal, and the Vice President External shall split the responsibility of individual bi-weekly meetings with Cabinet members and weekly meetings with Event Chairs. The President and the Vice President Internal may split this responsibility with the Student Life appointed advisor.  They are also expected to fulfill other necessary duties as members of the Executive Board.
The Vice President Internal shall assist the President in any other manner deemed necessary. In the absence of the President, the Vice President Internal shall be in charge of all the Presidents responsibilities.The Vice President Internal shall be responsible for the organization and planning of all General Body Meetings , along with at least one (1) open social event a semester and at least one (1) members-only social event a semester. The Vice President Internal shall be responsible for building a team atmosphere for the executive board members..  They are also expected to fulfill other necessary duties as members of the Executive Board.
The Vice President External shall also be in charge of all correspondence with external organizations, as well as alumni, which will include organizing events, maintaining a database of alumni, and keeping alumni up to date with current AASA news. The Vice President External will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with other organizations within and out of the Asian community. The Vice President External will also be in charge of organizing groups for Homecoming, OU Dance Marathon, Big Event, and conferences such as MAASU or NCORE for AASA.  They are also expected to fulfill other necessary duties as members of the Executive Board.
The Treasurer shall be responsible for all AASA accounts, updating records of expenses and assets, meeting with individual Executive Board members regarding budgets, and disbursing funds as authorized by the President and the account sponsor. The treasurer shall be required to give periodic reports on AASAs financial status, including an initial budget report to the entire Executive Board at the first autumn Executive Board meeting and a final budget analysis report at the last Executive Board meeting in the spring. They are also expected to fulfill other necessary duties as members of the Executive Board.
The Secretary shall keep a record of the minutes of all AASA meetings either of the General Assembly or the Executive Board. In the absence of the President and Vice Presidents, the Secretary shall preside over the Executive Board meeting. During the first full Executive Board meeting of the fall semester, the Secretary shall review the AASA Constitution. The Secretary is responsible for maintaining AASA records, among which include membership enrollment, Engage membership list, and the mailing list. The Secretary shall be responsible for sending out updates via newsletters to members and alumni. The Secretary is also responsible for recording inventory on the Inventory List at the start of each semester and enforcing updates of the inventory from each Event Chair after their respective events They are also expected to fulfill other necessary duties as members of the Executive Board.

The Historian shall be responsible for the documentation of AASA through photography, videography, and digital outlets. The Historian is also responsible for updating all social media pages, which include Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter, and Engage. The Historian should also work with the Graphic Designer for AASA publicity campaigns and social media pages. The Historian will be responsible for making sure that the accessibility statements are included in all publicity campaigns. They are also expected to fulfill other necessary duties as members of the Executive Board.
The Graphic Designer shall be responsible for the design of all publicity materials including, but not limited to, posters, flyers, programs, T-shirts, and social media graphics.The Graphic Designer shall also be responsible for getting their designs approved by the University of Oklahoma. In addition, the Graphic Designer will be responsible for handling transactions between AASA accounts and companies for publicity media.  They are also expected to fulfill other necessary duties as members of the Executive Board.
