To build a relationship with students and parents, the teacher must show empathy, build trust, be compassionate, and set expectations. In addition, to create a family atmosphere their must be unity inside of the classroom. First, students must have a good relationship with their teacher, then the students must feel comfortable around their peers. This means that the teacher must have a good classroom management skills and genuine relationships with their students. By using positive reinforcement and understanding the students individual needs, then the teacher can properly group their students.
