I chose this because I wouldn’t want to put another colleague on the spot to get in the middle of our differences. I also don’t think an impromptu speech would be a good idea for a professional project presented to our CEO. I would explain to Bruce that I wouldn’t want to forget about any part of our project or misrepresent any part. I would be honest and tell him I don’t feel comfortable just winging it.
